Dr. Gene MilliganDoctor of Dental Surgery
Dr. Milligan is a “BISM” (Born in San Marcos). He did pre-dental studies at Southwest Texas University (now Texas State University) then went to San Antonio to study dentistry at the University of Texas Dental School. Graduating at age 24 with a D.D.S. degree, he was one of the youngest licensed dentist in Texas. He returned to San Marcos to begin a solo family practice in June of 1976. For thirteen years he was the dentist for the area Head Start Program. Dr. Milligan especially enjoys Implants and Lumineers because of the dramatic effect these procedures can make for the patient.
His hobbies include oil painting, gardening and music. He plays guitar, mandolin, harmonica, and trumpet. Currently, he is building an off-grid home with rainwater collection in Martindale, Texas.
